Yes, the default Chinese input method is causing problem. Many new users
get confused and don't know how to fix it. If changed, the user
experience can be improved, especially for new users.

it have modify the way unity and ibus work
when i am on chinese mode => i can write everywhere (unity and apps)
when i am on french mode (azerty) => i can write everywhere, excepte on
dashboard of unity

affect me too ! i can't use volume up, down, mute etc since few week !

I can accept Baidu to be added to the search engine list. But NOT the
default one.
Though Baidu is one of two most widely used search engines in China, but
Google is more frequently used by Linux users. I think most Ubuntu
users will choose Google

Just after Installing Mythubuntu 12.0.4 and added propietary drivers, a
complete update freezes the applicacion, not the OS.
After rebooting the OS and doing a partial upgrade I got this error.

I was able to reproduce the crash by trying to resize konsole window again.
