I am having this issue as well, a diff between the mountdevsubfs.sh that
Ninad posted above shows no differences (and md5sum is identical). When
I try adding the devpts line to my fstab and then mount -a I get devpts
mounted already or /dev/pts is busy . Mount does not show it as being
mounted ..
Fixed it, I need to put mountdevsubfs earlier as stated at the end of:

Finally got it to work. What led to it working was upgrading from ddwrt

Hi Matt,
Thanks for the reply. I haven't had quite that luck. It does drop out
for me after a while. Next time it happens I will see if dmesg has any
useful info and post it.

Okay, I had some garbage from a manual build before upgrading.
Everything (except the clipboard bug) is good now after cleaning up.
Apologies for the false report.

I uninstalled all the freerdp and related packages. I also manually
removed any freerdp libs, For example:
/usr/lib/libfreerdp-kbd.so.1.0.1
/usr/lib/libfreerdp-rail.so.1.0
/usr/lib/libfreerdp-rail.so.1.0.1
/usr/lib/libfreerdp-utils.so.1.0
/usr/lib/libfreerdp-utils.so.1.0.1
...
/usr/lib/freerdp/au
The freerdp packages I think were freerdp-x11 , libfreerdp-plugins-
standard , libfreerdp0 and libfreerdp1

Hi Mathieu, Sounds like somehow my upgrade is non-standard. Any chance
there is a place you could recommend where I could see what
NetworkManager.conf should look like (and related files such as

Tried the following:
1) Added the dnsmasq line to my NetworkManager.conf
2) Manually edited resolv.conf to be the 127.0.0.1
After doing this, when I connect to the vpn it now uses VPN's
nameservers, The only problem is the "search" domain not is used so I
have to use the FQDN every time.
