Ever since this fix was released my laptop now goes into standby mode
anytime I close the lid on gnome-flashback. The only workaround was to
use the gnome-tweak-tool like mentioned in comment 1.

This began when I upgraded to 16.10, it always happens when using Gimp
under Gnome-flashback. Occasionally it happens with other apps too.
The quickest way to reproduce is to open up an image in Gimp, select
all, copy and then exit. That's when Metacity crashes.

the gnome-flashback session all Wine applications appear in the "Other"
menu, which leads to a confusing list of applications if the installed
programs have common shortcut names in their Start Menu folde

The problem is when they made the switch from libgdu-dev to
libudisks2-dev, they updated the name of the package in the dependencies
but forgot to change the required version of the package from 3.0 to
2.0, so it's looking for a non-existant version 3.0 of libudisk2

Same thing here, not sure if it's related but the list of weather
locations is always closed each time I open the popup calendar, and now
it lists them by the reporting station (i.e. airport/school/etc) instead
of city name.

Mobility Radeon HD 4200 video card.
If I select the Ubuntu Classic (No Effects), and play any overlay based
content (SDL, Xv, etc) the video window appears over all of my windo
I experience the same thing, I'm using the ati catalyst drivers. I would
offer more info, but unfortunately I don't know which package is
responsible for handling overlay accelerated video.
