Same problem as well. The problem started after switching to a SSD disk
instead of an old normal disk. In most cases I got a printout"Scanning
for btrfs filesystems" after which the "booting stopped".
Adding the sleep line mentioned in earlier posts solved the issue for
me. Prior to that I worked

I have the same problem using "wl" on a WPA network. I can only ssh into
myself as "localhost" using the default SSH client.
The "putty" package allows me to SSH, and filezilla works with SFTP, but
anything that uses "ssh" fails.

issue. When I play Diablo II I get periodic spikes! I've tried renicing

from my system using synaptic. (Ctrl+F for pulseaudio and 'Compltely

Why is this fix not being pushed out to the main repo's so that we can
implement the fix more widespread. I had to go through and image an
entire library worth of machines with this pre-rolled up because gdm
crashes all the time when we use pam_mount. Thanks fedsed for the

As a workaround to anyone dealing with this:
Change the value in KDMRC that allows for retrying to start kdm several times,
and this will work around the bug until a fix is made. Now, this only affects
me once in a great while. Still bothersome though and would like an update on
what's going o
This bug report is nearly a month old with NO update from any developer.
Please update the bug report with some insightful, as this is feeling
like there is no hope for this bug.
