I am experiencing exactly the same situation with Intrepid AMD64 on Dell
XPS M1330. From my experience, the crash seems to happen when using
applications that need rendering (my last crash was when using firefox),
although Xorg's log does not reveal anything.

blocking a Ubuntu factory image for HP's Moonshot platform. To unblock
them, we'd first need this fix and then re-spin an installer, after

FP_DEVICE_ERROR_DATA_DUPLICATE error is added in libfprint 1.90.3
version, but when driver is returned this error, UI is not showing as
duplicate finger error and showing Fingerprint enroll is failed, UI
should show proper error here.
And also, post this failure, next finger enrollment is failed u
This issue is fixed in libfprint v1.90.2

Test sequence:
Fingeprint is enrolled
Win+L: At login screen, earlier in 20.04 version, it used to display "scan your
finger", it is not displayed in 20.10 version, but fingerprint identify is
working fine.
