In my case, clicking on Calendar view would hang. It started two days
ago, and continued through yesterday and today. Quitting and restarting

This is not just for encrypted mounts. I have an hfsplus loopback mount
and cannot umount it. This worked fine in 8.04, but fails in 9.04.

I am trying to trim down a larger audio file and export my sample. I
have carefully trimmed the audio from a large file (~45 minutes) down to
a small sample (~5 seconds). I am trimming by either splitting and
deleting or selecting and cutting.
@Barry: To clarify, when you talk about "per kernel", you are talking
about per kernel that will be installed? As opposed to per kernel
already in /boot. I ask because at the time it failed for me, I may have
had 10 kernels stacked up in /boot. How many kernels get installed?

The bug bit me back in 2007 (upgrading to 7.04), so obviously the
details are pretty hazy by now. I mentioned in my bug report that I had
5 kernels in /boot at the time of failure. I just booted up that old
system, and df reports a size of 101086 total 1K blocks. So
@Barry: No, that was total size, not free space. Subtract out however
much space five 6.10-era kernels would have consumed, along with
whatever other typical /boot files might take up.

I just installed 11.04 Beta 1 on my Samsung NF-310 netbook, and am
seeing the same problem: There is no Touchpad tab in settings. I have
not tried an earlier Ubuntu on this machine.

In Natty, create a new 3G connection, choosing US and AT&T, data plan.
The connection is created with an APN of "Broadband" instead of the
correct "ISP.CINGULAR". The connection will not work until the APN is
changed manually.

This time, I did not activate the Broadcom driver, and it still shows as
"not activated" in the Additional Drivers app. My networking works fine,
and I did not experience the same problem that I originally reported.

box still leaves the connection functional. It seems that the app is
remembering the setting in terms of connecting, and only forgetting in
terms of popping up the dialog.

I installed LinuxMint 9 KDE Live DVD onto my systems 20gb ATA hard drive
configured as a Slave Drive with an Optical Drive attached as Master. The
install went OK except the Optical drive was not available after booting to the

OK, I am back. The install of Legocy 2010 did eventually fail also. I was
unable to configure the "GRUB" boot loader it provided.
On the reboot after installing Legocy 2010, GRUB comes up and prompts for
input. I press Enter and the it is unable to load the Shell.
I think it is time to relegate
