I thought this was a bug with mine as well, but I think that for
Multisync the w850i phone REQUIRES that you connect and then start in
PHONE MODE, not FILE TRANSFER mode. That fixed this same issue for me,
but perhaps it's a different problem. Therefore, not a bug, but an
annoyance of the hardware.
Same problem, but it seems to be sporadic. I've successfully burned two DVDs,
with the problem interspersed. The first time, I solved it by rebooting X11.

I'm having this issue right after Kubuntu boots from a USB, before I get
