Nope, no need to wait for Hardy.
1) download pstoedit 3.45 here: http://www.pstoedit.net/pstoedit
2) uninstall pstoedit 3.44
3) install libplot-dev and librsvg2-dev
4) install pstoedit 3.45

I found a possible workaround, I would like to check if it's correct and
safe to try:
Just add a gnome-classic.desktop to /usr/share/wayland-sessions/. It can
be copied from /usr/share/xsessions.

The "clamscan" command stopped working on my Ubuntu 18.04, probably
because the outdated version of clamav. Cpu usage goes to 100% but the
command does nothing until pressing Ctrl+C to exit. This is the main
antivirus of Ubuntu, so it's a security vulnerability. I request the
