Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: pidgin-libnotify
By default we now disable the pidgin icon in the notification area and
rely on the message indicator applet for access to the buddy list. This
works fine once you access the buddy list from the indicator applet, but

This would indeed be very cool!

Currently when selecting pidgin from the indicator applet, it hides the

Buddy list should raise when trying to launch pidgin a second time
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/354
from the
menu it checks to see if there is a pidgin instance running and exits if
there is. Pidgin should actually raise the existing buddy list window
if it is already running.

I can not reproduce this. I removed the paper and printed, I get a
notification bubble that says I am out of paper and an error icon in the
applet. No alert box. I have also reviewed the code, we seem to be
handling all cases for notifications.
