Hi all,
I've installed Ubuntu 10.10 on my BENQ S73G laptop. Since then my system
has a problem with unability to shutdown properly - what it can do is to
display te closing screen (ubuntu logo plus grey/orange dots), go to the
last dot and then freeze - then I have to shut it

I've installed the 2.6.35-24-pae, booted whit this kernel, but shutdown
was like usual - freezed. I've found that "pae" stands for "Physical
Address Extension", and since my PC has only 1GB of RAM this is useless
for me, am i right?

result as usual.
