and did some more testing, it seems that this bug is only present when I

Drivers for RTL 8723BE chipset are included in Kernel 4.1+ but I am
getting kernel panics when a bluetooth device is enabled and in use. At
the moment running kernel 4.2 RC4, the problem is still present.

I contacted Lenovo, there isn't an .iso available for the BIOS upgrade.
The .exe provided by the download page is also not a wrapper for an
image file. Is my only chance of upgrading the BIOS by temporarily
installing Windows on my laptop? :\
