Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gaim I installed the latest gaim 2.0.0+beta3.1-1ubuntu2 from gaim 1.5. It removed gaim-meanwhile plugin package as the sametime plugin is now inside the gaim package. However, the .deb file is missing the plugin, so I could no longer connect to my IM serv

An entry for the camera needs to go into the unusual_devs.h kernel file to tell the usb driver to handle this. Ubuntu 2.6.22-12 only ha

I've seen this behavior in the search bar portion (automatically highlighting the text you just typed so your next keystroke deletes it) for several Ubuntu releases. Really annoying as I use that for searches all the time. My workaround has been to use the firefox build from Mozilla. I've only seen

I checked browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll in my browser and it is already set to false. I commented here, because all the bugs that describe more of my behavior are pointing to this one as a duplicate. Someone seems to be pretty sure that they are different manifestations of the same bug. I see it o

I also am seeing the same problem. I have two 10.04 32-bit installs, one on a MBP (2.2 Core2 /2Gb Ram) and the other a Dell XPS (2.6 CoreI7, 6Gb). The Dell has no problem extracting expat-2.0.1.tar.gz, but the MBP does. Both systems are up to date as of now. I downloaded gzip 1.4, built it and repl
