Python-webkit is broken in Jaunty (hangs), so the conduit Jaunty package
must be build and configured to use gtkmozembed, and dependencies
adjusted accordingly.

Actually Conduit 0.3.14 was a stable release, however I forgot to inform
autotools of that fact, so the main window still displays "Unstable" in
the title.
0.3.15 is a bug fix release from the same branch (gnome-2.24). We will
continue to make bug fixes from this branch in the 0.3.x series.

Hi Guys,
Conduit is currently in a transition period to pywebkitgtk. They were
apparently supposed to make a release by now, but its been held up. I
will ping the maintainer again, as this will require an upload into
ubuntu also

I just tried to setup a computer for a friend, and encountered this

I am trying to add iPod video support to Conduit using python-gudev.
After some research (note: i dont have one of these devices to test
with) I believe the media-player-info file for these devices is
incorrect and hence the /lib/udev/ru
same problem here with intel 965 chipset on Ubuntu Lucid, fresh install.
The gnometris window takes about 15 seconds to show. Runs like bollocks
and is unplayable.

I stopped working on Conduit because I could not maintain it without
extra help.
Bad luck.
It might come back to life in future, perhaps when I get paid or my
circumstances give me extra time to work on it.
