Public bug reported:
I am migrating from 7.04 to 8.04. The environment is Ubuntu 64bit

Here is the error in 8.04:

ERROR 29 (HY000): File '/var/www/tradesim/foliofn/MA4625500

I would like to appeal your decision on this on the basis that mysqld
already applies the necessary restriction and that the apparmor
restriction is redundant, plus it is not granular per user. MySQL
defaults to having LOAD DATA INFILE off due to the Files Privilege being
off.

Yes, I use auto-login.
As a workaround, I have disabled the keyring pa
n closing, I have two questions:
1. Can grub report the results of the BIOS probe?
2. Which disk is going to have its MBR updated on the next kernel
upgrade? IOW, will the upgrade honor the device.map file or will it do
its own BIOS probe? If the update fubars my IDE0=100% Windows MBR, it
is

No, you CHOSE to use g-k, so it is your problem.
I have a better suggestion. How about the "NEXT STEP" be to drop

Yes, I see. It was 7.04 desktop beta with all updates current at the

I had added Apache, MySQL and PHP packages. Perhaps I ran the updates

My LAMP/desktop is working fine. I have been able to create images

manual change to the php.ini file as I stated in my report.

Good news!
I just rebooted after editing php.ini to comment out the extension=gd.so
line that I had added on 2007-04-09. I happy to report that the
creation of images continues to work just fine.
