This isn't a bug in the code, but it is a design flaw in the UI.
The folder selection widget controls which folder the files are synced
to. If you had set the "Folder Location" to /home/me/Picasa it would
have worked.

Probably only minor, really. This is a bug from an SVN version of
python-gdata we ship along side Conduit because the distros are normally
too out of date. We don't use the Google Apps API, so this bug is just a
warning and doesn't break Conduit in anyway shape or form - you can
still sync your Goo

scenarios you've tried. The team were trying to recreate a behvaiour
found in an application called iFolders if i remember correctly, but it
is thoroughly confusing for 99% of users who don't use it that way. So

I can't reproduce with intrepid and conduit master (again, GIO variant).
So either we fixed in master, py-gio had an API break, py-gio has a
regression or there is someway of setting this up in the UI that doesnt
properly enable the folder

Patched dbus available in my PPA (https://launchpad.net/~jc2k/+archive).
This seems to fix it, and my PC hasn't exploded yet :-)
To test, i used the gutsy odccm from

Sound cuts out every 8 to 10 seconds (in might be more regular that
this, i dont make a good stopwatch).
While changing the volume (hardware keys) "fixes" it after it happens,
continually manipulating the volume (hardware keys) doesnt stop it from
occuring every 8 to 10 seconds.

If an app breaks and i close and reopen it without touching the volume
then that app once again has sound.
However, if i start youtube and wait for sound output to stop then
opening (for example) totem there is still no sound at all. Whats more,
closing firefox completely and restarting it does no

If I was going to leave Conduit in Ubuntu I would remove the
NetworkModule from the package. It was never meant to do file sync, and
its UI never matured.
