I too am seeing this same problem with Ubuntu 9.04 and my Microsoft
Intellimouse Explorer 4.0
If the mouse is moving, the mouse scroll wheel does not work. This
problem did not exist when I was on 8.04. I upgraded to 8.10, just so I
could upgrade to 9.04, so I didn't try it under 8.10.

problem when attempting to open a root terminal via the built in gksu

I forgot to mention some things:
- When the copy/paste problem is happening, if I open up a new tab and
try to type into the address bar, the text keeps getting highlighted
blue, and every new keypress overwrites the former keypress. If I type
quickly, I can get a few letters in before it auto-hi

I too loaded the jaunty-proposed package last week and it fixed my
problems. Many thanks to the team for tracking this down and creating a
fix. I once again have my root terminal with a different color font,
launched from a toolbar button. :)

Gateway T-1625 running a wifi connection on Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS.
When the webcam is turned on, the wireless device disconnects and seems
