Yes, the window under the mouse pointer still gets focus instead of the
selected one if it is on another workspace screen.

ICMP and UDP work fine, but TCP connections never show any data coming

I have tried the live version of 9.04 beta, and the issue seems to be
resolved there; a random ssh connection over IPv6 seems to work. If it
is decided that this issue is not worth backporting, i'll just upgrade
as soon as 9.04 is released.
