Ok, the repro scenario is really easy: I started from the command line
as you describe ("f-spot --debug &> fspot-log.txt"). Then click the
File menu, then select Quit. It dies with a segv. The fspot-log.txt
file is attached.

Don't know exactly when this was fixed, but the problem does not happen
in the 4/15 Daily LiveCD (this is the first LiveCD I have tried since
the Beta was release).

Grub fails to install in Ubuntu Studio 8.04 beta
I started noticing this same problem about a week ago. The installer
seems to be downloading some stuff from the repos which apparently isn't
working with the older stuff on the install CD. I had this problem with
both the desktop and alternate CDs.

Changing the package to "envyng-core".
I just rebooted, went to a text console, ran "envyng -t", and told it to
install the nvidia drivers. That ran, installed several more
packages(huh?). After rebooting everything is working fine.

am running happily on several systems. I have checked the CDs with
md5sum and all files are OK.
On one of my computers all install options will lead to a busybox prompt
(whether I do the install, try the

I see this as well, running an HP 8710w. I have swapped Ctrl and
CapsLock. The key labeled "caps lock" works as control but toggles the
caps-lock LED. They key labeled "ctrl" works as caps-lock, but does
not toggle the caps-lock LED.
I agree that this did not happen in Gutsy.
