I'm running Gutsy with the latest updates with an Intel 3945ABG. I can't
connect with WEP (or WPA, although I haven't tried that recently).
Unencrypted connections work fine. I'll be eagerly awaiting a fix!

Ben, I had to sudo apt-get remove network-manager and network-manager-
gnome. I then installed the package. Then I reinstalled network-manager-
gnome.
And it works perfectly! I connected to a hidden network with WPA2 no
problem. I'm running Gutsy with the latest updates.

Problem is also occuring on Toshiba U205. Very unpleasant...my computer
is crashing 2-3 times per day, and I can't close my laptop lid without
having to restart the computer. Considering I'm a student, this is a BIG
problem. Let me know if you need logs.

(although not working - separate issue) but the scanner is not.
