Okay I have some more information:
When I manually restart pulseaudio and look at the terminal output it
looks like that:

PulseAudio needs a mixer control like "PCM" or "Master" but alsa does
not support software mixers for my card. That's not a problem for me I
can use my external mixer but pulseaudio does not like that... What a
crap ;) I'm going to

testing Hardy Beta on a real partition not only in a VM) my RT2570 USB does not
work anymore. Same problem as everytime: connecting. connecting no

Okay, becouse here xine-ui does not install any additional packages -
all is already installed and DVD playback does not work with this
menu...

How can I enable it to write the output in a file? becouse it's so long,
that it does not fit in the console (also with scrolling up, it's
cutted...)
GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 GST_DEBUG=3 sound-juicer > log
does not work (no content in the file log)
But I think that no extra console ouputs were to see

okay thanks, but why are there 2 reports? It seems to be the same
problem and are there any differences except the backend between totem-
gstreamer and totem-xine?

Yea, I installed now totem-xine and xine-ui and DVD play works perfectly
with menus. Both, when insert CD and use autoplay and when using the
menu item.

Yes, this bug is still an issue - now under feisty daily. When I insert a DVD
totem is opening automatically and the film starts without dvd menu but with
sound and so on.
But when I use the option in menu, I get the same as Sebastian.
