original post and saw that Mac OS X is used.
What I mean is that you need VirtualBox 4.3 Guest Additions on the guest Ubuntu
13.10, but official Ubuntu 13.10 box has only VirtualBox 4.2.16.

whitespace. This was a known upstream bug fixed in
7a2eb259b2e22ce5e2395fbf578b5fef57667489 in ding-libs.
There is a number of pending patches upstream, when those are reviewed,
a new ding-libs release will be done.

There is one thing that helped me with this problem. You can set lower
APM value with sudo hdparm -B 128 /dev/sda (default value is 254). After
this your hdd should stay around 40-48 degrees. But it's not solution,
because with lower APM value your hdd will spin down/up quite often,

Yes, I do have an Optimus notebook. I use Intel videocard, while NVIDIA
is just turned off for the most of the time (I use Bumblebee for
switching). I don't really thinks it's related.

If I have few desktops and few aps or thunar directories open. When I
restart the system, it don't restore those application on previous
locations (right desktop). For instance if I had 4 terminal emulators on
4 different desktops, and when I restart the system they all appear

unfortunately current Trusty is not usable, not even with kernel

for me it appeared when i wanted to change repo for dolphin emulator,
whch he didnt do. Then i unchecked the ppa and everything went well.
