The major problem, why I use gnome-ppp and not the NM, is that N-M cant
handle my cell-phone modem correctly
instead of Maverick brefore.
There is onlya chance of 1% that N-M resp. Modem-Manager can establish a
connection with my mobile, instead of gnome-ppp.
In M
this also happend on natty narwhal alpha3 ...

Meanwhile I installed the latest updates to be up-to-date ;-) and it seems,

After latest updates (xserver-xorg-input-all) behavior of SynPS Synaptic
touchpad changed back to normal operation.
Touchpad (moving / tipps) working as normal.
Can put now the USB-mouse back into the box again.
