After leaving computer idle for 10 min and monitor didn't go to sleep, i ran
again:
killall gnome-power-manager && gnome-power-manager --verbose 2>&1 | tee
~/gpm2.log
The output was:
gnome-power-manager: no process found
so i opened System>Preferences>Power Management and closed it.
This is th
happens in lucid also.

In network-connections > dsl, i had a connection set with option 'Available to
all users', and with this option my dsl was up on startup, but it doesn't
connect on startup anymore.
I tried deleting the same, and setting a new one, but the problem persist.

After some time of using firefox or some other program, graphic became
jerky and slow. The graphic was ok, until i upgraded to kernel
2.6.32-23-generic. When that happens i need to log in again, and
everything comes back to normal. Using Lucid and at
