I'm running ubuntu 24.04 on a Dell XPS laptop
kernel 6.8.0-45 works well
When upgraded to 6.8.0-55 - there is seemingly no proper usb support
(external devices don't work), no external monitor available, bluetooth
is absent and touchpad works in a very basic mode.

to be required by 'linux-image-generic-hwe-22.04' which in turn is
installed by 'linux-generic-hwe-22.04'. And it was installed too long
ago for the reason to stay in logs. I probably installed manually at
