it seems to work well.
I have done the following :
-In a Lucid PC upgraded from Karmic having the "manual" patched krb5 installed
: leaved the domain, installed package version 1.8.1+dfsg-2 (which has the
problem with windows 2000 domains), verified it cannot join the domain,
installed
Now is working fine in upgraded and fresh install lucid PCs
In upgraded installation I have to rejoin the domain
(patch package following the steps in :

items of the Window List Applet, changing the order of them.

My dvd burner was old, but still working fine with other OS, i borrowed a cd
burner and recorded the iso again,... thank you, ubuntu is running fine, i am

In Lucid even copying libraries to /usr/lib doesnot solve the problem, giving
error:

I have similar problem but with ALL cron jobs (my user's jobs).
First I schedule a job to run daily at certain time, I reboot, log-in before
the job start time and cron ignore the job completely (nothing logged in syslog)
Then I schedule another job (exactly same as above), reboot, log-in, but now

No font available after installing in user space

The font is downloadable from https://www.fonts4free.net/ecofont-vera-
sans-font.html as stated before.
I downloaded the zipped .ttf file, unziped it, clicked on it twice in
Nautilus file manager, the Ubuntu installation procedure started and
finished apparently in a correct/successful way.

Well, but as far as I know Kubuntu 8.04 uses KDE3 as default desktop
environment. And its core packages will be supported until April 2011,
so some people may use it up to that date.
I think fixing the packages [0] would have taken the same time it took
replying to this report and marking the bug
I've fixed on my PC it when I used Kubuntu, but unfortunately I'm not a
MOTU, and I don't have the knowledge to pack an update (don't know if I
can, either).

I managed to find out that Sun Java was working well. The problem was
that OpenJDK Java seems to be incompatible with Frostwire, and Hardy

I have the exact same problem, and suppose all Konqueror user have.
What's more, I've found the solution. After several minutes, It was only
a line in the file cited below. Search for the element (it already
exists) and add the property (as root).
/usr/share/kubuntu-default-settings/kde-
profile/
Also, I've assigned this bug to kubuntu-default-settings package, as it
is not a kdebase problem.
