[Bug 244205] [NEW] Oxygen cursor theme showing up when other is selected

2008-06-30 Thread Henrik Pauli
Public bug reported: Whenever I install KDE4 to try it, the Oxygen cursor theme gets installed (which, I’m sorry, but I really really really don’t like and makes me nauseous and upset). It appears however, that no matter that I select another theme, Oxygen will try to appear as often as possible

[Bug 244205] Re: Oxygen cursor theme showing up when other is selected

2008-06-30 Thread Henrik Pauli
As is my luck, by the time I open my mouth about it, it starts to behave like it should. So many times I had to remove the cursor set just so it wouldn’t pop up randomly… It seems it finally does work, needs a few restarts and it’s clear. Aside: is it me or, are the NESW and NWSE cursors mixed u

[Bug 238897] [NEW] mcedit default indentation settings cause mixture of tabs and spaces

2008-06-10 Thread Henrik Pauli
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mc By default, mcedit’s indentation settings are: 8 units per tab, use tabs, and use fake half tabs. This causes problems because fake half tabs are in fact tabsize/2 space characters, and as anyone who has ever indented source code knows: either use tab

[Bug 196325] [NEW] NetworkManager conflicts with OpenVPN

Public bug reported: I’m not using NM’s openvpn plugin (nor am I using the GUI controls to NM, it’s been left as it is ever since I reinstalled my box in October or so), I’m using openvpn separately. NetworkManager and NetworkManagerDispatcher are running as normal. A few days ago (this is Hardy

[Bug 178192] Mouse cannot be set to left-handed in kubuntu hardy

Public bug reported: In KDE 3, it doesn’t seem to matter whether I set my mouse left- or right-handed, it’ll remain right-handed. This is on Hardy, with the 7.3 X.org. The mouse is a normal optical mouse with a tail, USB-driven. Up until Gutsy, this worked perfectly. ** Affects: ubuntu Im

Nope, they’re active, but they do nothing after applying. The only way I could get around it is to set right-handed and mess with my ButtonOrder in xorg.conf — oh, in fact, left-handed and reversed ButtonOrder means right-handed as it should, just the normal way of doing things doesn’t work (which

Hmm, it appears that it works now, for whatever reason — all config files are untouched, and beyond the regular apt-get upgrade, nothing has happened. So I guess whatever NM was choking on, has been fixed or was just a random effect of circumstance. -- NetworkManager conflicts with OpenVPN https
