Not sure if the bug exist with Intrepid, I've only upgraded on my

Yeah sorry. My laptop is now running 8.04 (Hardy?), and my workstation is
running Intrepid. I think the problem still existsted when I installed Hardy
on my laptop., but hey, it's almost a year since that install, so I cant say

My laptop soundcard is working OK, but I cant get audio-out working.
When I connect a jack-cable to the headpone-outlet, the internal
speakers are not muted, and no audio is sent to my external receiver.
I'm running Kubuntu 7.10

That sounds fine. I tried looking into the problem, but I'm not able to
check/reproduce the error anymore, as the audio-out on my Vaio-laptop have
died altogether now :P
