:-( still no fix... this is from Kubuntu Gutsy Tribe 3 (from-scratch) installation: Alt Gr is still mapped to the Win key. On a swiss german keyboard this is needed to type the @ sign. to fix: - after installation edit xorg.conf like so: Section "InputDevice" Optione "XkbOption
