After a few minutes watching to flash videos with sound I got no sound
at all from my system. Restarting alsa-utils and pulseaudio doesn't
work.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 with a fresh install and I've installed flash
plugin via Synaptic.

This happened minutes ago, I was playing Frozen Bubble and talkins with
a friend of mine in Pidgin, then suddenly was only able to listen to th
sounds that came from Frozen, not form Pidgin. I take a look at
/var/log/messages which gave me this:

As I not allowed to heard sound at all, I could not identify a single
package/application related to this bug.
In any case, if I find another bug (wich I hopefully do not want ;-) )
I promisse to be more careful in providing more detailed explanations.

I solved this bug!
I used lsmod to see wich modules are listed relative to sound, when it
appeared two modules before the snd_hda_intel: snd_hda_codec_si3054 and
snd_hda_codec_realtek. I inserted them in blacklist.conf, rebooted my
laptop and now I have sound again.

It's only necessary to blacklist snd_hda_codec_realtek module,
blacklisting both sound is heard in speakers AND headphone, with only
snd_hda_codec_realtek sound is heard only in one of them.
