I have the same problem with a "Turtle Beach Riviera PCI" Sound Card. But I'm only experiencing the problem which is described in the original bug report (profile switching, correct 5.1 only until the next skip in sound). I have no problems with flash etc. I assume this bug is not restricted to SB
