Thanks a lot Sir Mohegan. Certainly , running gnome-classic without effects (just metacity, not compiz) is solved 90%. If you have the windows' close button configured to the right of the windows, it's difficult to click on close moving the cursor to the top right. You must click at least 2 o3 time

I didn't see your response, @Josep Pujades. I've changed the exec line in both .desktop files with no luck :( Obviously I'm still on Ubuntu 12.04, locale ca_ES, gnome classic no effects. Maybe the Exec=env fails? I have not the intention of upgrading to 12.10. @marmuta, aren't you fixing this bug
