Hi! No, i don't have a .matplotlib/matplotlibrc, but maybe a slightly modified
/etc/matplotlibrc (i can't remember if it's modified or not...). Anyway, the
file is attached.
I've just updated matplotlib with the newer version, and the warning it's still
there, but this time i can get a plot!

I've experimented a bit, and probably i've found where the problem is.
If the proxy configuration is as in the image attached, i got the error
i've reported. If i set "no proxy", all is ok.

I have the problem described with all the OOO applications (v 2.4.1) .
They always start with full screen mode and every file I open is in full
screen mode. I have tried to push ctrl+shift+j and it actually works but
I would like to see the navigation bars as a default mode. Could you

I had the visual effects enabled and after having thm disabled the flashing
screen problem has gone better (almost disappeared), but the navigation bar
problem is still the same and slightly worse as now I have to switch twice
into/out of full screen mode in order to get the window well resized

i can confirm this as well. I have an external Maxtor 250Gb, Usb, powered,
labelled Winusb, NTFS filesystem. After the last upgrade every time i switch it
on system creates a new mount point with the HD name appended by an underscore.

Hi at all, i'm using kubuntu 6.06 with 2.6.15-23-686 #SMP kernel. I have
a problem with suspension. When i suspend my laptop, on resume audio
seems to run very slowly and with distorsion. Instead with hibernation
- is all ok. I dont know
I've a Travelmate C110 and got same error, limbo screen after the phrase
"unsupported wmi-interface"
If I try the 2.6.31.21 from grub everything is ok.
