For groovy I did install all the suite with no issues at all.
I installed the current virtualbox, upgraded to 6.1.22, installation of
host and guest and guest-hwe tools was fine, guest-additions was fine
too, and ext-pack was downloaded and installed successfully.

Nope. There is a packaging bug in virtualbox, setting R^3 to no and loosing
"chmod +x" on binaries during build.
This is a non-issue for groovy and focal, but a problem for hirsute.
I plan to upload new virtualbox that fixes the issue soon.

installed on the system, because I removed the embedded version being
used in borgbackup
