100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
I removed the AC. I expected the Gnome Power manager would start
counting how much battery life is left.
When AC removed gnome power manager exits unexpectedly.
/var/log/message shows me this:

I tried this ubuntu-bug thing, it spit some very strange notes.
My /var/crash dir is empty.
I can not report this in other way.

My Prestigio Visconte 1300 has the same problem you are talking about here.
The only difference is that I use kernel 2.6.22-14-generic.
