The package octave2.9-forge installs files on:
/usr/lib/octave/site/oct/api-v22/...
those .oct file are made with api-v22 but the octave2.9 uses api-v24.
This is what happens when a forge function is called:
octave:1> version
ans = 2.9.12
octave:2> addpath
"/usr/lib/octave
how long will take a bug like this to be solved? In

to it.

9 months and nothing yet, is this a problem of just ubuntu/kubuntu or
other distribution as well, have a distribution with a broken package
like this for 9 months is a kind of achievement, isn't ?

I have used the Gutsy since beta and I have updated it daily using
the Adept Manager.
Since some days Adept Manager shows a button "Version Upgrade"
that starts the "Upgrade Wizard" that starts the Distribution Upgrade
