the clear.

When I try to open a libreoffice document on a AFS directory that I have
full write permissions to and that is not over quota, I always get this
pop-up:
Document Could Not Be Locked
The lock file could not be created for exclusive access by LibreOffice,
due to missing permis
I have just tested with the upstream packages of LibreOffice 6.4.0, the
problem doesn't occur there, it creates the lock file on AFS with the
right content (name, user name, etc.)

This is with vlc and the Intel iHD graphics driver. By default, vlc is
using automatic detection for hardware accelerated video. The selected
default is vaapi which produces a green bar on top of every video. The
workaround is to select vaapi_drm in the settings.
