In an OO.o-Application (at least Writer and Impress) press F1 (same as
'Help - OpenOffice.org-Help' from the menue), choose the Search-Tab,
enter any search-item and press enter. openoffice.bin will crash.

The show desktop button (in kicker) minimizes all windows. these windows should
stay minimized until the user press the button again or manually maximizes them
(according to the KDE manual).
But: if a new windows is opened *all* minimized windows will open.

If you have your KDE Desktop directory for example on
/user/linus/Desktop and a symlink to /home/linus/Desktop you got the
following problem:
If you save a file to /home/linus/Desktop (to the symlink) with KDEs
save-as Dialog, it will not appear
same problem here e.g. with paket "vmwareplayer"

have also moved gtk*-files to "solve" it:
mv .gtk_qt_engine_rc .gtk_qt_engine_rc_old
mv .gtkrc-1.2-gnome2 .gtkrc-1.2-gnome2_old
mv .gtkrc-2.0 .gtkrc-2.0_old

The NTP synchronization is triggered when a network interface is brought up (
if-up.d).
This does not make sense for Ubuntu-Server because here the interface is
usually always up and then no time synch. will be performed.
(I solved that with a crontab entry.)
