It seems to be related to dbus. The receiver only gets partially
initialized when restarting the dbus service.

I should also mention that I get the same behavior in 2.6.31-3 and
2.6.31-5, as well as the 2.6.28 series in Jaunty and 2.6.27 series in
Intrepid..
So far only Hardy has ever gotten the suspend/resume to work fine on
this computer.
