Note that I tried setting this up under Debian 6.0.6 on an identical

a result of upgrading from Lucid to Precise. The default-jre-headless
package creates the /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk symlink upon a fresh

boot but the keyboard doesnt work at all after resuming from suspend.
