should change Windows in any way whatsoever.

I did manual partitioning. I 'forgot' to erase all data on the
partition on which the install was to take place. I think this had two
consequences.

On the first two installation attempts I destroyed and recreated primary
partitions 0 and 2.
On the third installation attempt I simply deleted their contents.

Having the same issue. After update to 2.6.32-40-generic #87-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar
6 00:56:56 UTC 2012 x86_64 GNU/Linux
hibernate to screensaver time settings does not work. Suspend from main
power-switch icon drop down continues to work just fine.
