The update from PPA of Gabble version 0.7.30-1~ppa9.04+1 solved the
connection issue for me, against ejabberd servers. So it seems that the
problem is solved.

This bug start to occur in Feisty Fawn an still in Gutsy Gibbon
When i try to boot from the Alternate CD it loads and after that the computer
have search after hardware and it's begins to Detecting the CD it fails
and wants modules.
in /dev/
I can't see /dev/cdrom or anythin

A Jackson : are you sure of that, so it isn't your DNS server which can't
handle SRV-records, i have bad experience with FON routers and theirs DNS
servers and SRV records. Try to change to an reliable DNS server.
otherwise try to use dig if you can resolve a SRV record
dig +short _xmpp-server.
