I guess this is also a way to decrease the bug count, just let them die

about 6 months after that initial bug report so one might say it was a
tipping point.

I'm not trying to argue with you. This is a Google-bug, sure! But, the
fact that a Firefox extension (yes, the app comes with an extension and
this is the cause of the crash) can bring down the whole Firefox browser
doesn't look so good.

Thanks for the update, but I won't be trying to duplicate the bug and
re-open it on a newer Ubuntu release because that particular laptop
showing the bug died of old age.
It seems a bit odd to use 'Won't Fix' on a 4 year bug that was delayed
so much it got outside the LTS(!) window. There should r
