It seems that after a long day of working, while always keeping at least
one terminal open, I end up getting TTYs with names like /dev/pts/84. It
seems gnome-terminal leaves some dangling file descriptors. This is

Indeed; killling and restarting bluetoothd and reassociating with my
Apple mouse works, but unfortunately I can now only use it as a pointing
device -- not a clicking device.
