I can confirm this bug in 0.8.6.release.c-0ubuntu5.
But in my case it happens even if the media file and the .txt file have
different names, but only if the media file

formed subtitle file for "Osborne-More.mov." Ordinary subtitle files
have an .smi file extension.

I get no help files in gutsy (1.7.11-1ubuntu2). When I select Help ->
Contents I get the following dialog box:
Unable to load page
The requested URI "ghelp:gnumeric" is invalid
This is the case even after I install the gnumeric-doc package
(1.7.11-1ubuntu2).

I can confirm this bug on my LG R580 running Karmic. If I press FN +
Down, the brightness is lowered one level; if pressed again, the
birghtness is instead raised a level. Subsequent pressings of FN + Down
will continue to raise, then lower, the brightness.
FN + Up appears to work correctly.
