i don't have an adblock plus addon installed on my computer, when i
wrote about "adblock" i ment a feature of ubuntu firefox "edit -
preferences - content - block pop-up windows".
and i've noticed this freezing problem not with google mail but with
another page which uses a java applet like google
even when the adblock is disabled i'm still having problems with java
applets in firefox 3.0.6 for ubuntu.

the only way i could get the java page loaded is when i disabled the
adblock.
