I can't confirm the problem on my computer with Jaunty and eclipse
3.2.2-5ubuntu3. See attached screenshot (and the CPU applet at the top

I attach the themes of version 0.8 and a firefox theme that is beta
version. The dark menus theme is full (no links to new wave). It's size
can be greatly reduced by linking the images folder to the new wave one
and linking the 'default-gtkrc' file to the new wave 'gtkrc' (they are

Everybody that wants light text have to use New Wave Dark menus.
Otherwise there is a Firefox theme (I'm attaching now) that can fix this
as well as to provide better integration. The file I provide is still
beta so it might contain bugs. Be free to report them.

I agree but there should be made a differentiation between New Wave and
New Wave Dark Menus. The second one does not have this problem and
should be selected if you want to to use the OpenOffice.org suite. I
don't know if DM is shipped in Jaunty but I hope to get v 0.8.01 updated
and used as descri
The file userCrome.css should not be used because it will stop other
themes from displaying proper menus. I have made a firefox theme
(currently beta and will improve) that fixes this issue and allows the
user to activate/deactivate it. I will attach it here.

I agree about the toolbars but in default Ubuntu Installation they are
below the navigation toolbar.
I think that the problematic apps should fix this issues not Ubuntu by
making alternative versions.

The borders should not be modified in the metacity xml file so that you could
resize properly. We should not change the designers idea of theme and make it
look ugly by making borders from 1px to 5-6px. We could not ask the Average Joe
to do this by himself. He just wants to us

When I tried to get the newest updats after fresh install of Ubuntu I
was given a error that download failed. It turned out that Ubuntu should
have asked me for account password. After I entered the pass everything
was ok and I managed to get may updates.

1. I started Ubuntu as usual and ran Rhythmbox 0.10.0 to play some music (from
