I have installed the newer Kubuntu and the ati driver is working with
it. However the display is 2/3's of an inch left and a 1/3 of an inch
down.
version number is 1.6.29.99+git20090825.fc74e119-0
I'm assuming therefore that this might be due to a usplash/xsplash/metacity...

Ltsp failed to pull in dhcp3-server from the standard alternate cd dated
20090902.1.
This meant that although all the config files were in place I could
actually get pxe boot working on the secondary machine.

Not falling back. It doesn't work with nv or nvidia drivers. I
installed the nvidia driver in oem mode to see if it was just and issue
with nv, but it effects both the nv and nvidia drivers.
It works on intel though.

Connect.
Wait for nickserve to recognise you.
See the icon change.

The dialog saying the cd is ejected is now being displayed inside a
terminal window rather than on the usplash screen.
The dialog is normally displayed upon reboot on the usplash back drop.
Where it pauses the throbber while awaiting the enter key
Crashed trying to install swfdec.
