Hmm this is in Grub, not in Ubuntu..
My suggestion was that it should have commands to list devices & files rather
than rely on you knowing tab completion works.
Also documenting tab completion would be a good thing.

I've had the same problems on my setup, which is LDAP + NFS via fstab.
It works with no changes to the 90qt-a11y, nscd installed and the
Ubuntu-2D session. It immediatley fails when logging in with the regular
Unity session. For now I adjusted the lightdm.conf to log in to the 2D
session by default

This happened to me too. The panel dissapeared, the login sound played,
and then the panel reappeared. There is 100% reproducability (at least
for me) because this happens EVERY time I switch NVIDIA accelerated
graphics drivers (between 173 and 177)

Exactly as stated in summary, there is crackly static coming from my
speakers, EVEN when the volume mixer preloads with the internal speakers
muted. (???) It lasts varying amounts of time, always only for

I have an HP Pavilion dv9830, which has a network indicator light next to the
network switch (see attached). The light blinks randomly, repeatedly, and in
intervals. It will be blue (indicating wireless is enabled, orange means
disabled) for anywhere from 2-15 seconds, and

UPDATE: This is interesting, I also got it to occur recently upon
pressing CTRL + ALT + BCKSPC, which immediately triggered the same
event. Would this signify that the problem has something to do with X?

Hmm... it seems Vista was the one not working right. I installed
Firestarter, and locked all connections, and the light stopped blinking.
Bug marked invalid.

Hello,
I'm having a problem when trying to print on canon 2022i device.
So the problem is...:
The printer is set up to default A4 paper format. By default, canon drivers
have US letter format, i change it to A4 and try to print a test page.
Information on computer shows that
Ubuntu studio fails to upgrade to hardy due audacious dependencies.
When removed audacious and ubuntustudio-audio upgrade goes niceley.
After upgrade installed ubuntustudio-audio and everything was fine.

No, the bug seems to be fixed, all of my files are synchronized and I see a
green tick on the "Ubuntu One" folder and on every file and folder within it.

from Karmic which was on a separate partition (with Ubuntu One folder in
it).
I now see a gray icon with an exclamation mark on Ubuntu One folder and
