and running the test case.
First I tested with the non-fixed 0.13.9 version of checkbox that came

I produced a good set of debugging information.
How I came to this situation:
- started canonical-certification-client
- selected certification whitelist, didn't deselect any jobs
- went through the list until I hit the reboo

Yes, I understand that the change may be risky at this point.
Still, maybe this can be kept in the radar for 12.10, so the "correct"
way of doing it eventually makes it in and this bug stops reappearing?

The test in question is checkbox's cpu_scaling_test, the job definition
shows it runs as:
sudo nice -n -20 cpu_scaling_test
this would be located in /usr/share/checkbox/scripts in an installed
system, or you can look at the latest version from trunk here:

- Boot with a working kernel (3.0.0-12 for instance)
- apt-get update; apt-get dist-upgrade

The checkbox log file is in .cache/checkbox/checkbox.log. It would be
useful if you could:
- Remove the old checkbox.log
- Start checkbox from the terminal like this:
checkbox-qt --log-level=debug
- Try to reproduce the problem
