I have also been experiencing this problem since moving to Intrepid, but not at first. I noticed it first one or two weeks ago, but it is now a daily occurrence. Alt-Tab does not fix it. Only Ctrl-Alt-Backspace restores the mouse click. I am running 32-bit Intrepid on a Dell Latitude D820 notebook
